In November 2025, Open Hearts successfully organized the CRC Day (Convention on the Rights of the Child) celebration in Mandalay, reaffirming our commitment to promoting and protecting the rights of children.

The event was conducted with the active participation of children, caregivers, community members, and relevant stakeholders. Through a series of child-friendly and interactive activities, participants were able to learn more about children’s rights, child protection, and the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment for every child.

Key activities included awareness sessions on the Convention on the Rights of the Child, group discussions, creative performances by children, and participatory games designed to encourage children’s voices and meaningful participation. These activities aimed to strengthen children’s understanding of their rights and responsibilities, while also raising awareness among adults on their role in safeguarding children’s well-being.

The CRC Day celebration provided an important platform for children to express themselves freely, build confidence, and engage with their communities in a positive and inclusive manner.
