Open Hearts Organisation is a local non-governmental organization working on Child Protection, Education, and Emergency Response across Myanmar. We are seeking a qualified, experienced, and committed professional for the following position:

🔹 Project Manager (1 Post)

Project: Strengthening Resilience and Recovery for Children and Families At-Risk in Earthquake-Affected Mandalay (CSEER)

Contract Duration: Feb-Oct 2026 (with possibility of extension based on performance and funding)

Duty Station: Mandalay

Reporting to: Senior Management / Director

🧩 Key Responsibilities:

• Overall planning, implementation, and management of assigned projects

• Ensure project activities are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget

• Lead and supervise project team members (Project Officers, Supervisors, and Field Staff)

• Coordinate with donors, partners, local authorities, and community stakeholders

• Ensure compliance with donor requirements, project logframes, and reporting schedules

• Monitor project progress, risks, and quality of implementation

• Prepare and submit narrative and financial reports to donors

• Ensure safeguarding, accountability, and protection principles are fully integrated

🎓 Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in any related fields, preferably Development Studies, Social Sciences, Education, Social Work, or related field

(Master’s degree preferred)

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in CPiE, Education in Emergencies, or humanitarian response

• Proven experience managing project teams and budgets

• Strong understanding of donor compliance, reporting, and coordination mechanisms

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work under pressure and in emergency or field-based contexts

• Strong written and spoken English and Myanmar language skills

📌 Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with INGOs, UN agencies, or institutional donors

• Knowledge of child protection, education, or emergency response standards

• Strong coordination and stakeholder engagement skills
